Apple Begins Shipping Vision Pro to Warehouses in the US as Retail Stores Prepare for February Launch: Report: Apple Vision Pro, the company’s first product release in a completely new market niche in almost ten years, is almost ready for release. Although the Cupertino, California-based corporation has not yet announced a launch date, the mixed reality headgear will certainly be available in the first half of 2024.

The Vision Pro is expected to be released in late January or early February, according to recent rumors. Before the headset’s retail release, US Apple Stores are getting ready for the arrival of supplies. Indeed, it has been reported that Apple has started to distribute the Vision Pro to US warehouses.

Mark Gurman stated in his Bloomberg Power On email that limited supplies of Apple’s spatial computer have begun to arrive at US warehouses before being distributed to retail locations. The iPhone manufacturer claims that even though the Vision Pro is just now delivering in limited quantities, by the end of this month, it will have enough inventory to support a February launch.

Gurman added that Apple might reveal the Vision Pro officially “in the next week or so,” directly after Tuesday’s start of CES 2024. The email claims that retail staff members from US Apple Stores are traveling to Cupertino for training related to an undisclosed new product. Gurman first revealed in December that Apple was planning similar training sessions for its retail employees to instruct them on how to set up, use, and recommend the high-end headset to a prospective buyer. Remember that the high-end AR/VR headset from Apple retails at an eye-watering $3,499 (about Rs. 2,91,400), and it was initially exclusively accessible in the US.

Gurman also reports that on January 21, Apple Stores in the US will convene to talk about sales protocols and provide additional training to all staff members. Retail establishments will also receive new backroom equipment for the Vision Pro and inventory racks at the end of the month. Moreover, it has been rumored that Apple has been submitting hardware and software design patent applications for the headset in the last several weeks, suggesting a possible release date.

In addition, Apple may decide to postpone shipping Vision Pro pre-orders to consumers in favor of appointment-based pickup at retail locations, where customers may receive a personalized product experience and fitting. The magazine further stated that after launching the mixed reality headgear exclusively in the US, the business intends to bring it to markets in China, Canada, and the UK.

Ming-Chi Kuo, a TF Securities analyst, had also stated in December that the Vision Pro would be available in stores by the end of January or the beginning of February. According to Kuo, the headgear will be Apple’s “most important product of 2024,” and the company plans to distribute up to 5,000,000 of them.
