1. From 03-10-2023, 1700 hrs., to 04-10-2023, 1700 hrs., there was slow movement observed on
NH-44 due to the breakdown of 05 HMVs, 35 nomadic herds, and single-lane traffic at Mehar, Cafeteria, and Dallas is between Nashri and the NAVYUG Tunnel.
2. HMV operators and owners are requested to desist from overloading. It is further requested that Vehicle owners double-check the fitness of their vehicles before undertaking a journey on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW.
3. HMVs with only 6 and 10 tires are permitted on Dhar Road.

*LMVs/HMVs/LOAD CARRIERS;-
Subject to fair rainfall and better road conditions LMV Passenger/ Private buses HMVs cargo Carriers shall be allowed from both sides on Jammu- Srinagar National Highway( NH- 44)viz. Jammu towards Srinagar, and vice versa. Commuters are advised to follow lane discipline.
* SF Convoy Movement- * Subject to fair rainfall and good road conditions. Security Force vehicles will be allowed to travel from both sides on the Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44). Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa.
* SSG ROAD * Subject to fair rainfall and good road conditions, vehicular movement on Srinagar- Sonamarg- Gumari Roads shall be allowed from both sides, viz., Srinagar towards Kargil and vice versa.
LMVs, followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Minamarg towards Srinagar from 0730 hrs. to 1100 hrs. Also, LMVs are followed by HMVs shall be allowed from Sonamarg towards Kargil from 1300 hrs to 1700 hrs. No vehicle shall be allowed after arrestment timings.
The convoy from Srinagar to Kargil, known as SF Convoy, is scheduled to depart Srinagar at 0800 hours. SFs Convoy plying from Drass to Srinagar shall plan their movement in such a manner so that civil business does not get disturbed.
* Mughal Road- * Subject to fair rainfall and good road conditions, vehicular movement on Mughal Road shall be allowed. Vehicles will be allowed to travel from Behramgalla (Buffliaz) to Shopian and vice versa at 6:00 AM.over to 1800 hrs. No vehicle shall be allowed. after cut of timings
