Vivo’s newest Y-series smartphone has a 6.56-inch LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz and is available in two color variants. A MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage powers the Vivo Y28 5G. It has two back cameras, the most powerful of which is a 50-megapixel main sensor. A 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W rapid charging powers the device. The IP54 classification for dust and splash resistance applies to the Vivo Y28 5G.

The 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model of the Vivo Y28 5G costs Rs. 13,999. Priced at Rs. 15,499 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB version and Rs. 16,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage model. Glitter Aqua and Crystal Purple are the available colorways.
Starting today, major retail outlets, Amazon, Flipkart, and the Vivo India e-store will be selling the Vivo Y28 5G. Customers who use their SBI, DBS, or IDFC First Bank cards to purchase smartphones can receive a discount of up to Rs. 1,500 from the company.

The Funtouch OS 13 operating system, which is based on Android 13, powers the 6.56-inch HD+ (720×1,612 pixel) screen on the dual SIM (Nano) Vivo Y28 5G. Its maximum brightness is 840 nits, and its pixel density is 269 ppi. Additionally, the display features a waterdrop-shaped notch in the center. Up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM is paired with an octa-core 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 6020 SoC to power the device. The onboard memory may be essentially enlarged to 16GB with the extended RAM option.
The Vivo Y28 5G sports two cameras on its rear panel: a 2-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture lens and a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/2.0 aperture. An f/2.0 aperture lens on the 8-megapixel front-facing camera is available for taking selfies and video chats. The phone has 128GB of internal UFS 2.2 storage.
