Priyanshu Chatterjee’s depiction of the upright police officer adds a subcaste of authenticity and frippery to the story. The film’s disquisition of demarcation and adaptability is both crucial and poignant,  slipping light on the stark choices the marginalized face. The plot revolves around a boy from Chambal, who, despite failing 12th grade, finds alleviation in his vill’s DSP, Dushyant, and heads to Delhi to prepare for the IPS  test. The gladdening support he receives along his trip is genuinely touching.
