Srinagar, Oct. 4 (KNO): An encounter broke out between terrorists and security forces in the Kujjar area. of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district on Wednesday, police said.

4 October 2023 At least 23 army personnel have been reported missing due to a flash flood that occurred in Teesta River in Lachen Valley after a sudden cloud burst over Lhonak Lake in North Sikkim
Some vehicles were reported submerged under the slush, the Army said in a statement. Following the cloudburst, some military installations in the valley were affected. Due to the release of water from Chungthang Dam, the water level suddenly rose to a height of 15-20 m downstream, due to which the army vehicles parked at Bardang near Singtam were affected. Search operations are underway.
