Xiaomi 14 Ultra Design Leaked Again via Hands-on Image; Suggests Circular Rear Camera Module

With the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro were introduced in China in October of last year. On February 25, Xiaomi will launch these flagship smartphones in markets outside of China. The eagerly anticipated Xiaomi 14 Ultra is also anticipated to make its debut during the worldwide launch event, but we get to see the phone up close in a real picture before that happens. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s back camera arrangement and design are emphasized in the purported live image.

The rumored live image of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has arrived on Weibo, thanks to tipster Digital Chat Station (which is a translation from Chinese). The phone looks to be in line with a couple of other brands’ flagship models. The image presents a hazy image of the gadget in an off-white color scheme with a circular camera module that is similar to the Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s design from the previous year.

Several hands-on photos released early in January gave us our first look at the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. A bigger camera island and Leica logo were prominently displayed in the earlier leak.

Four 50-megapixel sensors make up the rumored quad rear camera system of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. The primary camera on the camera unit may be Sony’s most recent LYT900 1-inch sensor, which has an f/1.63 aperture. A 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and 2K resolution is anticipated.

The Xiaomi 14 Ultra is anticipated to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, just like the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. It is rumored to have an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication along with slightly curved panels. A 5,180mAh battery that supports 50W wireless charging and 90W wired charging may power the phone.

The global release date of the Xiaomi 14 series was recently confirmed by Xiaomi. Just before MWC, on February 25, the phones will be unveiled in Barcelona.
